ASHEVILLE/BILTMORE ESTATE - The Biltmore Estate is America’s largest home and was alive with Christmas….brimming with 30 trees, holiday music and cheer!  We enjoyed a beautiful candlelight tour of the Biltmore Estate as well as spent time in Asheville and had a holiday brunch at the lovely Grove Park Inn!  This Silver Connections trip was a truly magical holiday experience!

TRIP TO MYRTLE BEACH, NC- Our lovely hotel was located right on the beach- waterfront shopping and dining, plus tickets to see "THE PLATTERS, THE DRIFTERS AND THE COASTERS!"  

NC MOUNTAINS  DAY TRIP- We visited the Ashe County Frescoes, some of the most interesting examples of fresco painting in the country.  The contemporary frescoes were painted by Ben Long, who studied under a Florentine master.  We then enjoyed Family Style Country Dining at the Shatley Springs Restaurant.  Travelers come to enjoy the country cooking, the famous spring water, and the beautiful mountain scenery.  After lunch, we visited the Ashe County Cheese Factory, the largest cheese making store on the east coast.  We had some free time to browse around town where art galleries and specialty shops dot the streets of West Jefferson.

LAS VEGAS,NEVADA -  Saw the "Beatles LOVE, CIRQUE DU SOIEIL", dinner at "The Mirage", visited the Hoover Dam and more!  

ITALIAN HOLIDAY- ROME AND TUSCANY  - Rolling landscapes, savory wines, delicious food, stunning architecture, historic sites….Silver Connections enjoyed four days in Rome and six days in Tuscany!  We toured some of Italy’s most charming towns, enjoyed the local cuisine and met the wonderful Italian people!    

SHADES OF IRELAND - The Emerald Isle, a land renowned for its “forty shades of green” is filled with rolling hills, warm people, stately castles and rollicking fun. We visited Dublin, Waterford, Killarney and Limerick as this comprehensive tour introduced us to  Ireland's natural beauty, rich history and hospitable culture. 

MEDITERRANEAN CRUISE-  We enjoyed the beautiful Italian Lakes region followed by a seven night Eastern Mediteranean cruise. Explored the wonderful historical sights and cultures of Northern Italy, Croatia and the stunning Greek Islands.    

NC WINERY DAY TRIP-  Wonderful artisan wineries along the 50 mile long Haw River Wine Trail bring you the best of North Carolina’s Wine Country. This short scenic drive winds through the heart of rural North Carolina following the path of the Haw River.  Tasting at five wineries and a picnic lunch. 

DAY CRUISE OUT OF MYRTLE BEACH-  Enjoyed a beautiful day on the water, on a 70 ft. ship equipped with a rooftop lounge, band (music), buffet lunch, socializing and just a relaxing Saturday!   

CHARLESTON, SC- A carriage tour of downtown Charleston, shopping, a visit to the Battery, Fort Sumter, Middleton Place Plantation, wonderful restaurants such as Magnolias, Low Country Bistro and more! 

OUTER BANKS, NC- A fun "Taste of the Beach" weekend!  A Tapas Crawl, visit to the Wright Brothers museum, a Wine Pairing luncheon, Currituck lighthouse, Chowder Cook-off and to top it off.....a St. Patricks Day Parade!
